Angela has also recorded and performed with artists such as Ray Charles, Gregory Hines, Elton John, George Benson & Michael Jackson.
In 1980, she released her first single, "Out Here On My Own" (from the movie "Fame") on Epic Records which peaked at #61 on Billboard's Hot Soul Singles chart, staying on the chart for 7 weeks.
In 1982, Angela released her self-titled debut album on Portrait Records. The album didn't appear to make the Billboard charts at all.
The only single to chart was, "Give Me Just a Little More Time" which peaked at #2 on Billboard's Hot Dance Music\Club Play Singles chart.
In 1987, Angela released her sophomore album, "This is Love" which also failed to make the Billboard charts at all.
The first single from the album, "B.Y.O.B. (Bring Your Own Baby)" (which was a cover version of Sister Sledge's 1983 song), peaked at #81 on Billboard's Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 7 weeks.
The follow-up single from the album, the title song, peaked at #73 on Billboard's Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 10 weeks, making it her highest chart appearance to date.
After that, nothing much was heard from her and she had seemed to have faded into obscurity.
These days, Angela resides in Madison, Connecticut, divorced with two teenage children, is a real estate agent and part of a gospel workshop called "Shoreline Soul."

Soul For Real is an R&B group from New York consisting of the Dalyrimple brothers: Christopher (born on April 30, 1973), Andre (born on April 4, 1974), Brian (born on December 14, 1975) and Jason (born on May 10, 1980). They signed to Uptown Records in 1992.
In 1995, they released their debut album "Candy Rain" which peaked at #23 on the Billboard 200 and #5 on Billboard's R&B Albums chart.
The title song became the group's biggest hit to date, peaking at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, topped Billboard's Rhythmic Top 40 chart, #20 on Billboard's Top 40 Mainstream chart, #2 on Billboard's Hot Dance Music\Maxi-Singles Sales chart and topped Billboard's Hot R&B Singles chart in March of 1995 for 3 weeks and staying on the chart for 32 weeks. 





Hi-Five is a Texas R&B quintet consisting of members Tony Thompson, Roderick "Pooh" Clark, Marcus Sanders, Russell Neal, and Toriano Easley. (Toriano was later replaced by Treston Irby).
In 1990, Hi-Five released their-self-titled debut album on Jive Records. The album peaked at #38 on the Billboard 200 chart and #1 on Billboard's R&B Albums chart.
The group's first single, "I Just Can't Handle It" peaked at #10 on Billboard's Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 21 weeks. 


In 1992, Hi-Five released their sophomore album, "Keep It Goin' On" which peaked at #82 on the Billboard 200 and #9 on Billboard's R&B Albums chart. 

The third single, "Mary Mary" peaked at #50 on Billboard's Hot R&B Singles chart, staying on the chart for 10 weeks. After the release of their second album, Pooh Clark was involved in a near-fatal car accident.




After that, Hi-Five went their separate ways. In 1995, Tony Thompson released his solo album, "Sexsational" that had a minor hit song, "I Wanna Love Like That."
In 2005, Hi-Five was re-incarnated with four new members including Tony Thompson's little brother, Jordan. A year later in 2006, they released their fourth album, "The Return" on Tony's independent record label, N'Depth.
