Frankie (born George Franklin Jackson in 1978 in Washington, D.C.) was an R&B singer from the '90s.

Frankie met music producer Chucki Thompson when he was 14 years old through a mutual acquaintance which happened to be Notch Howell of music group Born Jamericans. He was signed to Chucki's Epic Records imprint label Chucklife.
In 1997, Frankie released his only album "My Heart Belongs To You" which peaked at #93 on Billboard's R&B Albums chart.
The only single from the album to chart was "If I Had You" which peaked at #108 on Billboard's Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart and #46 on Billboard's Hot R&B Singles chart, staying on the chart for 14 weeks. The song also featured rapper Jadakiss.

The follow-up singles "I Have Love" and "One Last Time" failed to chart at all and after that, it seems as if Frankie has faded into obscurity. Nothing much has been heard from him since.

Thank you so much for this post.It has been a sad decade for genuine r&b talent which is just about nonexistent especially from the 80's and 90's.There was a lot of slept on talent. This album is still a gem it had other singles that should have made the top #20 on the charts such as "last time" " i have love" "dear love "and "think of you" "have i told you lately that i love you" just a few of my favs on this great lp .This guy got a raw deal-no promotion or follow-up. When I tried to search some time ago no luck,I guess over time with social media growing then he became more recognizable.Amazon and youtube really started to post more of his music with great reviews. I wonder what happened to him as well in the music world?

I last read that he had some legal and drug struggles. I hope he's well today. I still have the CD. It's shameful that it wasn't more well known.

But where are you Frankie?
Your sweet voice we miss, this flow that I have never heard elsewhere!
You do for me party of the big rnb, as Faith Evans I love.
We miss you
