Gene Van Buren

Gene Van Buren was an R&B singer from the 80s. Not much information is given about him, but he was signed to Tamla Records.
In 1982, he released his only album "What's Your Pleasure" which didn't appear to make the charts at all nor did the title song which was released as a single.

After the release of Gene's debut album, there were plans for a follow-up album entitled "Love Never Dies," but unfortunately, those plans never materialized.

He later went on to provide vocals for artists such as Jimmy Buffett, Gregory Hines, Ava Cherry, Luther Vandross, Bette Midler, Lisa Fischer and Donna Summer.

These days, it's unknown what Gene is up to and it seems as if he has faded into obscurity.
