Dalia

Dalia (born Dalia Reid in Greensboro, North Carolina) is a female R&B singer from the 90's. Dalia started out singing in her church choir as a child.

As she got older, Dalia directed numerous gospel choirs and became the lead singer for contemporary gospel music group, the Reid Singers.

Dalia met music producer, Rodney Shelton and Dalia was encouraged to convey her vocals in an R&B format which she agreed, but only if each song carried a meaningful message.

In 1997, Dalia released her debut album, "It Ain't Easy" which peaked at #89 on Billboard's R&B Albums chart.
The first single, "It Ain't Easy (Livin' Without You)" peaked at #64 on Billboard's Hot R&B Singles chart in November of 1996, staying on the chart for 18 weeks.
In 1999, Dalia released her second album, "Bring it Home" which didn't appear to generate the same success as her debut album.

According to her Reverbnation.com page, Dalia currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, but it's unknown if she's still in the music business.
