Korell (born Phil Korell Melegrito on May 13, 1968) was a freestyle\dance singer from the 90's. He began singing when he was 5 years old and earned his big break in 1988 after creating a music group called Reaction.

While performing, Korell was discovered by freestyle musician, Stevie B. who was impressed with his talented and began collaborating with him on various musical projects. Korell was signed to LMR Records, but his debut album was released on Thump Records.
In 1994, Korell released his only album, "Make it Last Forever" which didn't appear to make the charts at all. Despite not charting, the album received rave reviews and became a favorite of fans.
The first single, "Paradise" didn't appear to make any impact on the charts, neither did the follow-up single, "Let Me Be the One."

After that, Korell took a break from his musical career. He has produced and written music for various artists. Korell has performed at various freestyle showcases across the country along with having a strong fan base in North and South America.
In 2010, Korell released his newest single, "Each Time" which is available for purchase on CD Baby. He was working on a follow-up album, but sadly on January 30, 2015, he passed away. He is survived by his wife, daughters & stepdaughters.
