Marla Mar & The Good 'N' Plenty Cru

Marla Mar & The Good 'N' Plenty Cru (from Los Angeles, California) were a female hip-hop group from the 90's. The group consisted of Marla, Tina Bright (who was "Good") and Medina (who was "Plenty.")

In 1992, they released their only album, "Woman Ta Woman" on Cardiac Records which failed to make the charts at all. There doesn't appear to be any singles released from the album and after that, it seemed as if Marla Mar & The Good 'N' Plenty Cru have faded into obscurity.

Today, Marla is married with 5 children & resides in Atlanta, Tina resides in Los Angeles, and Medina resides in Saudi Arabia where she teaches English.

Hi Kylie,
My name is Charles Bryant (Charlie B) the producer and writer of most of all Marla Mar's music. When we finished this album Virgin records was sold and Marla's record was shelved. Months later we signed with Easy E's Ruthless records. 3 weeks after we finished the album Easy E passed away from AIDS. I ironically the A&R rep who signed us to Cardiac Virgin died 3 weeks after signing us from complications of AIDS too. Marla now lives in Atlanta and is married with 5 kids,Tina Bright (Good)lives in Los Angeles, and Medina (Plenty)lives in Saudi Arabia where she teaches English. I am the CEO of Tantrum Entertainment Group a music and film company.
