Boys on the Block

Boys on the Block were an R&B vocal trio that consisted of members Nathaniel Drinkard, Tommy Moore, and Rick Alexander. Not much information is given about them, but they were signed to Fantasy Records.
In 1987, the trio released their only album, "Blockbusters" which didn't appear to make the charts at all.
Their only single, a cover version of the Beatles' song, "Let it Be" peaked at #76 on Billboard's Hot Black Singles chart in August of 1987, staying on the chart for 5 weeks.

After that, it seemed as if the Boys on the Block faded into obscurity. Nothing much has been heard from them since.

Wow, so many on the Block boy groups on here I didn't know exist. Searching for Guys Next Door brought me here.
