Tenita Jordan

Tenita Jordan (born on October 8, 1960 in Columbia, South Carolina) was an R&B singer from the 80's. She appeared in the Broadway musical, "Dreamgirls" as one of the Steppe Sisters.
In 1986, Tenita released her self-titled debut album on Top Priority Records. It's unknown how or if the album ever charted.
The first single, "I Don't Wanna Think About It" peaked at #89 on Billboard's Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 3 weeks.

The follow-up singles "You Got Me Dreamin" and "Free Me" didn't chart. After that, it seems as if Tenita has faded into obscurity. Nothing much has been heard from her since.
