Radiant was an R&B\funk band from New York that consisted of brothers Dan, Carl, & Ron Jones (who sang vocals), Ira Mayfield (who played guitar), Chris Botti (who played trumpet), David Mann (who played saxophone), Kent Smith (who also played trumpet), and Matthew Jacobs (who played drums).
In 1989, the band released their debut album, "Catch the Glow" on Columbia Records. It's unknown how or if the album charted.
Their first single, "Something's Got a Hold on Me" peaked at #34 on Billboard's Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 10 weeks.
Their follow-up single, "Let's Go All the Way" failed to make the charts at all. After that, it seems as if Radiant has faded into obscurity. Nothing much has been heard from them since.

I remember this band in Baltimore 1989! So much fun! A great group of musicians!

I remember this band so well too. I used to see them at a club called Buddy's, back in the day. I listened to their cassette constantly.
