Blog is moving to WordPress

Hello, it's the Music-Know-It All with an important message. I will be moving my music blog to WordPress because I've been having some publishing problems with Blogspot that I have tried to figure out, but to no avail.

Here is the new website to the blog:
http://rareandobscuremusic.wordpress.com/

It's going to be a work in progress, but I hope to have it up and running in no time. I'm not giving up on the blog, I'm moving it to a new location. You can still look at the old posts on Blogspot, but I will no longer be blogging there. Sincerely, The Music-Know-It-All

Blu

Blu (born Byron Mitchell in Los Angeles, California) was a male R&B singer from the 90s. He graduated from Taft High School in 1987. In 1995, Blu released his debut album, "Out of the Blu" on Motown Records. It's unknown how or if the album ever charted.
The only single to chart from the album was "My Ol' Lady" which managed to peak at #86 on Billboard's Hot R&B Singles chart, staying on the chart for 3 weeks.

After that, it seemed as if Blu had faded into obscurity. These days, Blu still resides in Los Angeles, is married and works for MasterMydent.

Groove U.

Groove U. were an R&B quartet from Houston, Texas that consisted of members Joe Sharp, D. Moe, Sceti Bo and Tee Ron (who is the son of singer McKinley Mitchell).

In 1994, they released their debut album "Tender Love" on Big Beat Records. It's unknown how or if the album charted.

The first single "(Seek and You'll Find) The Kinda Right Baby" peaked at #68 on Billboard's Hot R&B Singles chart, staying on the chart for 5 weeks.

The follow-up single "Old Becomes New" peaked at #88 on Billboard's Hot R&B Singles chart, staying on the chart for 6 weeks.

After that, it seemed as if Groove U. had faded into obscurity. Nothing much has been heard from them since.
