Young & Restless was a hip-hop duo from the early 90's whose members consisted of Leonerist Lamar Johnson and Charles V. Trahan.
In 1990, the duo released their debut album, "Something To Get You Hyped" which peaked at #104 on the Billboard 200 and #28 on Billboard's R&B Albums chart.
Their first single, "Poison Ivy" peaked at #8 on Billboard's Hot Rap Singles chart and #76 on Billboard's Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 8 weeks.
Their second single, " 'B' Girls" became a hit for Young & Restless, peaking at #54 on the Billboard Hot 100, #4 on Billboard's Hot Rap Singles chart and #58 on Billboard's Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 11 weeks.
In 1992, Young & Restless released their sophomore and last album to date "That Was Then-This is Now!" which didn't chart at all and after that, it seemed as if they had faded into obscurity.
