Larry Springfield

Larry Springfield (born in Memphis, Tennessee) is an R&B singer from the '90s. He won the 1991 National Star Search competition.
In 1992, Larry released his only album to date "I'm Just A Man" on Tabu Records. It's unknown how or if the album ever charted.
The first single "All The Way Love" peaked at #27 on Billboard's Hot R&B Singles chart, staying on the chart for 12 weeks.
The follow-up single "Stand By My Woman" peaked at #58 on Billboard's Hot R&B Singles chart, staying on the chart for 7 weeks.

Larry has written & produced music for artists such as Gerald Levert, Chante Moore and Wayne Brady. He has also toured with Keith Sweat, Al Green, Chante Moore, Barry White, B.B. King and many more.

These days, Larry is the lead male vocalist at B.B. King's Blues Club in Memphis.

Not long ago, I met Larry at BB Kings in Nashville. He was impressive as a personable guy with a great rapport . On stage, he blew us away with his voice and stage presence!
We didn't get to see him last week while in Nashville.:( We heard he was leaving to sing on a cruise ship.
We wish him all the best!

cd has at least 5 singles. just as good as bobby brown or any new jack swing / quiet storm artist.

He's also a raising three children. Larry Springfield Jr. (1996) Lindsey Springfield (2000) and a stepson Ethan Carter (2005). I should know...I am Larry Jr.
