Jeremy Jordan (born Donald Henson on September 19, 1973 in Hammond, Indiana) was a pop singer from the early '90s who was also known as a "teen heartthrob" in teen magazines such as "Tiger Beat" and "Bop."In 1993, Jeremy released his debut album "Try My Love" which peaked at #176 on the Billboard 200 and #9 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart.
His first single "The Right Kind of Love" became his biggest hit to date, peaking at #14 on the Billboard Hot 100, #4 on Billboard's Top 40 Mainstream chart, and #22 on Billboard's Rhythmic Top 40 chart.
The music video for "The Right Kind of Love" was featured during the end credits on an episode of "Beverly Hills 90210" and was featured on the show's soundtrack.
Jeremy's follow-up single "Wannagirl" peaked at #28 on the Billboard Hot 100, #24 on Billboard's Rhythmic Top 40 chart, and #11 on Billboard's Top 40 Mainstream chart.
The other songs from Jeremy's album "My Love is Good Enough" and "Try My Love" didn't chart, but were featured in the movie "Airborne."
In late 1993, Jeremy released a remix album overseas. Jeremy was planning on working on a sophomore album, but those plans never materialized.
After that, Jeremy switched to acting starring in movies such as "Never Been Kissed" and Stephen King's "Storm of the Century."
