Denise Lopez

Denise Lopez (born in Queens, New York) was a female freestyle\dance singer of the late 80s\early 90s era.
In 1988, Denise released her debut album, "Truth in Disguise" which peaked at #184 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Her first single, "Saying Sorry (Don't Make it Right)" peaked at #31 on the Billboard Hot 100 in July of 1988, #1 on Billboard's Hot Dance Music\Maxi-Singles Sales chart, and #6 on Billboard's Hot Dance Music\Club Play chart in June of 1988.
The second single, "If You Feel It," peaked at #94 on the Billboard Hot 100 in November of 1988, #3 on Billboard's Hot Dance Music\Maxi-Singles Sales chart, and #22 on Billboard's Hot Dance Music\Club Play chart in December of 1988.
The last single released from the album, "Too Much Too Late" peaked at #21 on Billboard's Hot Dance Music\Club Play chart in June of 1990 and #13 on Billboard's Hot Dance Music\Maxi-Singles Sales chart.
In 1990, Denise released her sophomore album, "Every Dog Has Her Day" which didn't chart on the Billboard 200.
The first single, "Don't You Wanna Be Mine" peaked at #86 on the Billboard Hot 100 in November of 1990. After that, Denise faded into obscurity. According to discogs.com, Denise has a fan-made MySpace page.
